Replacement of an existing water heater Navien Tankless water heater change out 4811 Avenue G Austin TX 78751
Express: Foundation Repair
This project is an electrical service upgrade at 4811 Virginia Dare Ln. The existing main service equipment has sustained heat damage with portions of the disconnect showing signs of burning. While the service entrance conductors from the utility to the meter are intact and will remain in place the equipment from the meter socket to the main panel requires replacement and upgrade to ensure safety and compliance with Austin Energy standards. The work includes replacing the existing main disconnect with a 150A rated device and installing a new 200A approved meter socket to replace the older existing meter enclosure. The meter base upgrade ensures compliance with Austin Energyยฟs current list of approved meter sockets. The existing service conductors between the meter and main panel will be re-terminated and inspected for condition and proper connections. No changes will be made to the utility-side service entrance conductors. All work will include proper grounding and bonding per NEC and Austin Energy requirements. The installation will be performed with coordination for same-day disconnect/reconnect with Austin Energy to minimize service downtime for the homeowner. Final inspection will be scheduled through the AB+C portal and the completed installation will provide a safe code-compliant service upgrade to replace older damaged equipment while maintaining the approved service configuration per the ESPA. service is underground
