Friday is the wet night of Halloween weekend in Austin, and the best indoor plan is the Blanton Museum's B Scene: Monster Ball, 7 to 11 p.m., with the psychedelic band Golden Dawn Arkestra, a costume contest and the galleries open after dark. B Scene is the museum's after-hours party, held three times a year. This one is themed around the Haas Brothers exhibition Uncanny Valley, and the Blanton's page says costumes are encouraged and links a costume restrictions list. Read that list before you build anything with props.

Where does Saturday night go if it's still wet at dusk?

Madeon at ACL Live at The Moody Theater, 310 W. I did not find a ticket price on ACL Live's page; tickets go through AXS, so check there for what's left.

Jupiter Supper Club's "The Spirits Among Us," 718 Congress Ave., Saturday, Oct. 31, in the Nova Lounge. This is a seated, prepaid dinner, not a walk-in: $150 per person on OpenTable, four plant-forward courses, a Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye Manhattan included, live music, and 20% gratuity added. The club's own page says 8 to 9:30 p.m.; a KXAN segment posted Oct. 27 said 8 to 11. I'd trust the booking page for the time, and call the club if it matters. Seating is limited, and I could not tell from here whether it has sold out.

What's on Sunday, Nov. 1?

Jim Henson's Labyrinth: In Concert, 40th Anniversary, ACL Live at The Moody Theater, Sunday, Nov. 1, 8 p.m. ACL Live describes it as the full film on a large screen with a live rock band, synth and percussion playing the score. Ticket price isn't on the page. Sunday is also when daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m., so your phone will be an hour ahead of your body for the early part of the day.

1. Friday, 7:00: Blanton Monster Ball. Park in Brazos Garage or take a rideshare to the circle. Be there for the 7:30 print exhibition if you want it, because it closes at 9:30.
2. Saturday daytime: Treat anything outdoors as a maybe. Showers are likely, not certain.
3. Saturday, 8:00: Madeon at ACL Live, or the Jupiter dinner if you booked it. The forecast for after dark is the best of the weekend's evenings except Sunday.
4. Sunday, 8:00: Labyrinth, after a dry afternoon.

• The Blanton sits on UT's campus at MLK and Congress, not on downtown's bar strip. Don't plan a bar crawl around it in the rain.
