One more correction worth making here: some listings have billed this as a "four-day" festival running Thursday through Sunday. The Far Out Lounge's own event calendar doesn't show a Thursday show at all — the ticketed lineup starts Friday. Whatever's happening Thursday night isn't part of what you're buying a pass for.
Sunday's show is at a completely different bar. If you buy a 2-Day or single-day Friday/Saturday pass, that ticket does not get you into Sunday's show at Sagebrush — it's a separate ticket, a separate building, and a 15-minute drive north up South Congress. Who's playing, and why does John Garcia matter?
The headliner is John Garcia — the original voice of Kyuss, the Palm Desert band that's now cited as one of the founding acts of stoner rock and desert rock, genres that barely existed before Kyuss's early-'90s run. He's also fronted Slo Burn, Unida, Hermano, and Vista Chino, and has spent the last decade playing to festival crowds who grew up on records he made three decades ago.
